The Road Equipment Sector and Decarbonisation

Just like all other sectors, the road equipment sector is increasingly facing a series of challenges that are having a considerable impact on it.
Among these challenges, environmental concerns come first, especially in the context of new European regulations that are being put in place, particularly in relation to the European Green Deal. This Deal is a set of initiatives which pave the way for environmental transition, with the aim of making the European Union climate neutral in 2050.
Many proposals encourage the revision of climate, energy and transport legislation.
